ERECTA SWITCH Series 10 two, three, and four level extended stem sets can now be configured with one or more Series 11-800 bimetallic temperature switches substituted for any level switch position. Detect both critical liquid levels and temperature limits — freeze protection, overheat detection, or process limits — in a single tank penetration, from standard stock.
Every ERECTA SWITCH three-level set is available in Polypropylene, Acetal, or Kynar. The same modular configuration ships in all three. OEMs designing for multiple chemical environments often specify more than one.
The standard specification for aqueous and mildly aggressive environments
Handles the broadest range of industrial chemicals at the lowest cost. Resistant to acids, bases, bleach solutions, detergents, and most aqueous process fluids.
For oils, fuels, and non-oxidizing environments where PP is insufficient
Superior dimensional stability and mechanical strength. Resistant to hydrocarbons, aliphatic solvents, oils, and fuels where fluid chemistry attacks polypropylene.

Handles strong oxidizers, halogenated solvents, concentrated acids, bromine, and semiconductor-grade process chemicals. Also correct for high-purity systems where material leaching is unacceptable.

Note: 1-1/4″ NPT mount is not available for three-level sets — the opening is too small to pass three switch assemblies outside-in. -SS models add two items over the base: three slosh shields (10-700-SS) — one per switch position — that stabilize float actuation in turbulent liquid, and a 10-700-WC liquid tight strain relief connector for weatherproof wiring entry. Base models include neither.

The removable 10-700-AS adapter steps from the receptacle's 1-1/4″ threads to 2″, allowing the three-switch stem assembly to install outside-in without internal tank access. Three-level monitoring for thin-wall plastic tanks and lids — outside-in, no hardware, no internal access. Cut or punch a 1-9/16″ hole; the 10-702-R1 pop-in receptacle snaps in and the O-ring locks for a liquid-tight seal. Wall must be plastic, 0.062–0.078″ thick. Three switch positions cover high, mid, and low from one penetration point — the most efficient three-level installation available for injection-molded enclosures and polyethylene reservoirs.
The 10-308 with three slosh shields and liquid tight connector for plastic tank applications where surface agitation is a factor. All three float positions are stabilized — outside-in snap installation retained. Preferred for thin-wall polyethylene reservoirs in wash systems, chemical dispensing equipment, and HVAC condensate units where pump cycling creates turbulence that would otherwise cause mid-level nuisance trips.
