Replacement Parts, Accessories & Field Service Components

Individual components for field repairs, custom configurations, and OEM fabrication. Every ERECTA SWITCH part is available separately — replace a single float, add a slosh shield, or build a completely custom sensor assembly from stock components.

ERECTA SWITCH modular assembly — three-level extended stem configuration

Build Any Configuration From Stock Parts

Inspired by the Erector Set building-block principle, ERECTA SWITCH uses snap-and-screw-together plastic components to create virtually unlimited sensor configurations from a common parts inventory. Every Series 10 assembly — from a bare 1/8″ NPT switch to a four-level extended stem set with slosh shields — is built from the same 10-782 switching element core.

  • 10-782 switching element — the universal core inside every Series 10 assembly. Field-replaceable in any configuration.
  • 10-715 precision nipples — set exact switching depths from 1″ to 70″ without custom fabrication. One per level.
  • Modular mounting hardware — bulkhead, receptacle, 2″ adapter, flange nut, and pop-in fittings interchangeable across all configurations.
  • Temperature switching adder — substitute any level position with an 11-800 bimetallic temp switch. No additional tank penetration.

PP — Polypropylene

General Purpose · Gray Body

Water, soaps, coolants, dilute acids, and alkaline cleaning solutions. The standard specification for aqueous applications. Lowest cost per unit.

AC — Acetal

Hydrocarbons · Red Body

Gasoline, diesel, hydraulic oil, motor oil, kerosene, and petroleum-based fluids. The correct specification when polypropylene is incompatible with the fluid chemistry.

KR — Kynar PVDF

Aggressive Chemicals · Natural Body

Concentrated acids, caustics, oxidizers, halogens, and high-purity process fluids. 250% margin premium over PP. The highest-performance and highest-margin Series 10 specification.

Series 10 FAQ

A magnet embedded in a hollow plastic float travels along a fixed stem as liquid level rises or falls. When the float nears the hermetically sealed reed switch in the stem, the magnetic field actuates the contacts without physical contact. No wear, no leakage path through the switching element, rated for 100 million+ cycles.
Yes. Remove the float and retaining ring, flip the float so the magnet legend faces up (normally open, opens on rise), and reassemble. The product ships in normally closed (NC) configuration. No tools, no separate part numbers for different contact forms.
The 10-715 precision nipple is a machined spacer that positions the switching element at a precise depth below the tank lid. Because the required depth varies by application and tank geometry, nipples are specified at order time in 1″ increments from 1″ to 70″. Extended stem sets require one nipple per level — the nipple length is the only variable the engineer sets, and it determines the exact switching point.
Yes — on two, three, and four-level extended stem sets, any level position can be substituted with a Series 11-800 bimetallic temperature switch. Same 1/8″ NPT thread, same nipple system, same mounting hardware. The temperature switch senses from freezing to 90°C across eight preset trip points in normally open or normally closed contact forms. See individual product pages for substitution pricing.
No minimum. Series 10 products are available as single units or in 10-packs with tiered pricing. OEM pricing for quantities above published tiers is available on request. All products ship Wednesdays from Paradise, California.
Start with mounting geometry: vertical or side-mounted? Then consider access: can you drill/tap an NPT thread, or do you need a smooth-hole bulkhead or 2″ bung drop-in? Then material: PP for water/aqueous, AC for hydrocarbons, KR for aggressive chemicals. Finally, level count: single-point or multi-level?
