1/4" NPT bulkhead-mount vertical level switch set. Inside-out installation, no external hardware required on the liquid side. Polypropylene handles water, water-based coolants, soaps, detergents, and dilute acid/alkaline solutions.

When tank geometry doesn't allow external threading — sealed vessels, molded reservoirs, or containers where the only access is from inside — the 10-101 is the answer. This bulkhead-mount switch set installs through a 1/4" NPT hole from the inside out, seating the fitting flush against the tank wall with no external hardware required on the liquid side.
The set ships complete with the 10-782 magnetic reed switch, 10-700-CS straight connector, and 10-702-BH bulkhead fitting. Polypropylene construction handles a broad range of water-based, mild chemical, and detergent-compatible applications without corrosion or leaching concerns. The switch mounts on a precision nipple — ordered separately as a 10-715 Precision Nipple in 1" increments from 1" to 70" — which sets the liquid level at actuation.
Minimum ceiling-to-switching-level distance (CD) is approximately 3.0" (76.2 mm). The 10-715 Precision Nipple length is calculated as: NL = LL − 1.89" (LL − 48.0 mm), where LL is the target liquid level from the tank floor.
The ERECTA SWITCH modular architecture means every component is field-replaceable. If chemistry changes or the switch wears, replace only what's needed — not the entire assembly.
Note: Internal tank access is required for installation. For tanks where external installation is preferred, see the 10-102 (1-1/4" NPT receptacle mount).

A float level switch like the 10-101-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-101-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-101-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.
ERECTA SWITCH offers vertical top-mount, bulkhead, and extended-stem configurations, plus side-mounted single-point models. The mount style is part of the model number — select the configuration that matches your tank geometry.
Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-101-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
Our engineering team can verify compatibility with your application and chemistry before you order.
