The 10-102 is the standard vertical-mount switch set for tanks with a 1-1/4" NPT port and no requirement for internal access during installation. Unlike the 10-101 bulkhead, which threads from the inside out, the 10-102 installs entirely from outside the tank — the 10-700-R1 receptacle housing screws into the NPT port, the precision nipple drops in from above, and the switch assembly seats into the receptacle. No entry into the vessel required.
The 10-700-R1 receptacle provides a robust housing at the tank wall, protecting the wiring connection point and giving the assembly a clean, serviceable interface. Thread engagement point is approximately 0.43" (10.9 mm) from the top of the receptacle. The switch and nipple can be removed and replaced without disturbing the tank fitting.
Complete set includes 10-782 magnetic reed switch, 10-700-CS straight connector, and 10-700-R1 receptacle — all polypropylene. Precision nipple (10-715) ordered separately in 1" increments from 1" to 70".

A float level switch like the 10-102-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-102-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-102-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.

Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-102-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
