Where tank ports are 2" NPT — common on larger process vessels, drum-top fittings, industrial reservoirs, and commercial equipment with high-flow fill ports — the 10-103 provides the correct switch set without requiring a reducing bushing or field-modified fitting. The 10-700-AS adapter with integral seal bridges the 2" port to the standard receptacle interface, and the 10-700-R1 receptacle housing seats above it, giving the assembly the same serviceable outside-in profile as the 10-102.
Installation is entirely from outside the tank. The adapter and receptacle thread into the 2" NPT port; the precision nipple and switch drop in from above. No internal access required.
Thread engagement point is approximately 0.43" (10.9 mm) from the top of the receptacle. The switch and nipple are removable for service without disturbing the tank fitting or adapter.
Complete set includes 10-782 magnetic reed switch, 10-700-CS straight connector, 10-700-R1 receptacle, and 10-700-AS adapter with seal — all polypropylene. Precision nipple (10-715) ordered separately in 1" increments from 1" to 70".

A float level switch like the 10-103-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-103-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-103-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.

Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-103-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
