Not every tank has a threaded port. Molded reservoirs, fabricated enclosures, and OEM equipment with punched or drilled mounting holes require a flange-mount solution — and that's exactly what the 10-104 provides. The 10-700-FS flange nut with seal and 10-700-FN flange nut clamp the assembly to the tank wall through a hole between 1.650" and 2.3" in diameter, with wall thickness up to 0.312" (7.92 mm). No threading, no tapping — drill the hole, mount the flange, done.
The 10-700-R1 receptacle housing sits above the flange interface, providing the same serviceable wiring connection point as the NPT-mount models. The precision nipple and switch drop in from above; the assembly installs entirely from outside the tank.
Thread engagement at the receptacle is approximately 0.43" (10.9 mm). The switch and nipple are field-removable without disturbing the flange hardware.
Complete set includes 10-782 magnetic reed switch, 10-700-CS straight connector, 10-700-R1 receptacle, 10-700-FS flange nut w/seal, and 10-700-FN flange nut — all polypropylene. Precision nipple (10-715) ordered separately in 1" increments from 1" to 70".
Minimum CD: 3.0" (76.2 mm). NL = LL − 2.20" (LL − 55.9 mm).

A float level switch like the 10-104-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-104-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-104-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.
ERECTA SWITCH offers vertical top-mount, bulkhead, and extended-stem configurations, plus side-mounted single-point models. The mount style is part of the model number — select the configuration that matches your tank geometry.
Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-104-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
Our engineering team can verify compatibility with your application and chemistry before you order.
