Pop-in vertical level switch set. O-ring locked receptacle through plastic lid — no threading, no internal access. Polypropylene handles water, water-based coolants, soaps, detergents, and dilute acid/alkaline solutions.

Most level switch installations thread into a port or clamp to a wall. The 10-108 does neither. Designed for thin plastic lids, covers, and containers where threading is not possible and wall thickness is too slight for conventional mounting hardware, the 10-108 pops into a 1-9/16" (39.67 mm) hole and locks in place with an O-ring — no tools, no threading, no additional hardware required.
The 10-702-R1 receptacle is the key component. It is purpose-built for pop-in installation: the O-ring compresses as the receptacle seats into the hole and then locks the assembly to the lid. The plastic wall must be capable of slight distortion during installation — the drawing specifies a wall thickness range of 0.062" to 0.078" (approximately 1/16"). Rigid walls outside this range or non-deflectable materials are not suitable for this mount type.
The leadwire is long and spliced into the receptacle, accommodating the nipple length below without a separate connector run. Installation is outside-in; the nipple and switch drop in from above after the receptacle is seated.
Complete set includes 10-782 magnetic reed switch, 10-700-CS straight connector, and 10-702-R1 receptacle — all polypropylene. Precision nipple (10-715) ordered separately in 1" increments from 1" to 70".
Minimum CD: 3.0" (76.2 mm). NL = LL − 2.62" (LL − 66.55 mm) — accounts for the 0.85" pop-in receptacle offset above the 1.77" switch dimension.

A float level switch like the 10-108-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-108-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-108-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.
ERECTA SWITCH offers vertical top-mount, bulkhead, and extended-stem configurations, plus side-mounted single-point models. The mount style is part of the model number — select the configuration that matches your tank geometry.
Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-108-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
