Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About This Product

What liquid chemistries is the 10-700-FB compatible with?

Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.

What factors should I consider when choosing the 10-700-FB?

Consider media chemistry (pick PP, AC, or KR), liquid specific gravity, operating temperature and pressure, mounting style, number of switch points, and electrical contact rating. Compac will spec it from your application — request a free evaluation sample.

What makes ERECTA SWITCH different from other level switches?

It is the only fully modular, off-the-shelf liquid level switch system: switch, float, connector, fitting, and nipple are independently field-replaceable and stocked. OEMs configure exactly what they need with no minimums and short lead times. Made in Paradise, California; RoHS compliant.

Can I order individual ERECTA SWITCH replacement components?

Yes. The 10-700-FB is available as an individual, stocked part — no need to replace the entire switch assembly. ERECTA SWITCH is a fully modular system: switch, float, connector, fitting, spacer, and nipple are all orderable separately with no minimums. This reduces repair cost and downtime for OEM field service.

Are ERECTA SWITCH components interchangeable across models?

Yes — modularity is the core of the ERECTA SWITCH system. The 10-700-FB is designed to work across multiple Series 10 configurations. Floats, connectors, spacers, and fittings share standard interfaces, so one stocked component serves many switch assemblies. Check the model number to confirm compatibility.

How do I identify which ERECTA SWITCH component I need?

Each component has a unique model number (e.g., 10-700-FB) that identifies its type, material, and function within the assembly. Contact Compac with your switch model number and the part you need to replace — or request a free evaluation sample to confirm fit before ordering production quantities.
