Condensate pan overflow prevention, cooling tower basin low-water cutoff and chiller reservoir alarms — in materials rated for treated water and glycol.
HVAC level sensing is mostly about preventing two failures: water where it should not be, and a pump running with nothing in it. Both are cheap to detect and expensive to miss — a blocked condensate drain damages ceilings, and a cooling tower pump that loses its basin damages itself.
Condensate pan overflow detection shuts the unit down when a blocked drain lets water rise in the pan, before it reaches the ceiling below. Shallow pans and side-only access make a side-mounted switch the practical choice.
Basin low-water cutoff protects the circulating pump from running dry when make-up water fails to keep up with evaporation and blowdown.
Every ERECTA SWITCH configuration is available in three materials. For this application the usual specification is Polypropylene (PP).
Send the tank, the fluid and the switch point. We will confirm the configuration and the material.
